This versatile self-management and organisation programme will be of benefit to anyone who would like to improve the way they manage their time and set their priorities. Whilst the programme contains an essential amount of theory, its focus is on helping delegates to develop effective and practical strategies that they can apply immediately within their day-to-day role and lives. It provides insight into personal behaviours and styles.
Barriers to success are explored and time-wasters identified in order for delegates to regain time lost to inappropriate tasks and activities. The programme not only examines basic principles of personal time management but also helps delegates relate this to managing work teams.
High performing teams and organisations put communication, customer service and cooperation at the top of the list. To deliver world class service to the external customer then internal cooperation and communication must also be the best. Dealing with challenges at work does mean that courageous conversations are sometimes required. Why courageous? Well, it does mean that one or both parties to that discussion may have to face up to challenges that they are unaware of or have previously ignored.
Emotional Intelligence is the awareness of our own feelings and emotions and the affect that we have on the emotions and feelings of others. This programme isn’t just about increasing manager and employee satisfaction through improved relationships. Yes, that is a delving into the subject. The real gain, however, comes from the increased employee engagement and commitment that comes when a manager understands their employees and treats them appropriately. It’s about interaction and awareness on a whole new level and there’s nothing pink and fluffy about it!
This influence skills programme delivers a toolkit of ideas and techniques that can be applied in day-to-day work situations when dealing with colleagues, customers and managers. Until recently there had been a strong focus on identifying strengths and weaknesses by whatever method, be it 360 degree assessments or psychometric profile testing. Development usually followed to close the gap on the weaknesses or at very least narrow it. This was all well and good.
However, if too much focus is put on a weakness, there is a danger that confidences will be eroded.
Thankfully, current thinking suggests that we are more successful in life, and at our work, if we identify our strengths and play to these rather than trying to improve our weaknesses!
This programme enables attendees to better understand their natural character strengths and how to build on these and make the most of each strength. The programme is practical and uses an on-line profile assessment test as part of the programme content. Each delegate manager will receive a comprehensive and practical feedback report.
You wont be disappointed – I've worked with Righttrack for a number of years now and have found them to be spot on with their training. Thoroughly impressed with how they operate and present.
They customise their training around the specific needs of the company / department / individual which is refreshing, considering some training sessions elsewhere have been 'Death by PowerPoint'.
I think what struck me about them was the relationship that they build with you initially – take the time to really understand your needs and requirements, and then tailor their training around that."
