Performance Management

This module focuses on staff performance and how to get the very best from people. The starting point is around understanding why we need to manage performance, the value of doing so, and the consequences of failing to do so.

The module explores why performance varies, what affects it, and what to do in response to both poor and high performers.

The programme moves on to introduce performance coaching; an invaluable tool for managing the, often ignored, high performers.

Practical exercises covering performance management reviews and managing under and over-performers complete the programme and help delegates to develop skills and strategies for dealing with most common performance issues.
