Suitable for:
Current or prospective managers who require a comprehensive, in-depth knowledge and understanding of first line management.
The Certificate delves deeper into management development issues, with a strong emphasis on change management. As with the Award, the Certificate programme provides a good blend of theory and practice, which enables delegates to leave the programme with an action plan to implement into the workplace, ensuring the transfer of learning.
Due to the in-depth nature of the Certificate, delegates need to attend a minimum of 120 hours of taught sessions that are facilitated by an approved Righttrack trainer.
The Certificate covers a range of different management development topics, including:
- Performance Management
- Building a Team
- Motivation
- Change Management
- Influencing Others
- Problem Solving
- Making Decisions
- Introduction to Leadership
- Organising and Delegating
For delegates to complete the Certificate they need to be assessed. This takes place in the form of two work-based assignments, supported by a number of subject specific assignments and reviews.
Programme Structure:
This programme is 120-130 hours in length. The delivery of the Certificate is flexible towards client requirements and can be delivered in a variety of module combinations.
Post Programme Support:
Throughout the whole Certificate programme delegates are fully supported through both ILM and Righttrack Membership. This goes beyond just contact with the Righttrack trainer within module time - all trainers and the Righttrack team are contactable via the telephone and email to help as and when required.
