Duration: 34-50 hours

Assessment: ![]()
Suitable for:
Current or prospective managers who require fundamental knowledge and understanding of first line management.
The award consists of carefully selected modules taken from the Level 3 First Line Management Certificate; essentially the Award is an introduction to management development.
The award will benefit many first line managers as the programme provides the perfect blend of theory and practice, allowing the delegates to become more effective and knowledgeable in their role.
For delegates to complete the Award they need to be assessed and this takes place in the form of two work-based assignments that need to be completed in between modules – these are not just for the sake of it as they are vital in the transfer of learning as well as showing if the development topic is fully understood.
Other assessment methods within the modules are also used to ensure that the delegate’s knowledge fully encapsulates the full programme content.
The Award modules are as follows:
- Problem Solving
- Making Decisions
- Introduction to Leadership
- Building the Team
Programme Structure:
The programme is 34-50 hours in length. The delivery of the Award is flexible to client requirements and can be delivered in a variety of module combinations.
Post Programme Support:
Throughout the whole Award programme delegates are fully supported through both ILM and Righttrack Membership. This goes beyond just contact with the Righttrack trainer within module time - all trainers and the Righttrack team are contactable via the telephone and email to help as and when required.
