Disability Equality
For all staff to raise awareness and encourage ownership of Disability Equality
There are millions of disabled people in the UK, all with individual needs, desires and requirements. It is also known that a substantial proportion of the population has some care related responsibility for a disabled person.
It is crucial to realise that a positive attitude towards disability is equally as important as barrier-free physical access. It is vital that you are confident that the attitude and actions of your colleagues and staff is representative of your organisation's positive attitude and actions.
