Overview
This workshop explores concepts of equality and diversity, and provides participants with practical knowledge, skills and awareness, to support fair and non-discriminatory management practice. It will help participants to become confident in dealing with a variety of equality and diversity issues.
The programme is usually customised to incorporate organisational issues, policies and strategies, and to include specially prepared case studies to enhance the learning. The programme can be prepared to be appropriate to first line, middle, and senior managers.
The focus of this programme is on the part the attending managers play in this area and on their responsibilities and actions. It encompasses both legal and moral responsibilities and is conducted in an engaging and interactive way while confronting key issues and challenging participants to take positive action in future.
