Overview
This fast moving equality and diversity training programme (also available in an abridged half-day version) provides delegates with a solid foundation of knowledge, skills and awareness to appreciate the importance and practice of equality within the workplace.
While the programme explores appropriate legislation it is designed to be interesting and engaging, and elaborates the value to every organisation of sound equality and diversity practices. Participative exercises that are relevant to your organisation examine specific case studies and examples for deeper understanding. Further sessions stimulate participants to reflect on their own and others’ beliefs and prejudices in order to promote changes within the work environment.
Debating views and opinions is encouraged, participation is managed by skilled and experienced facilitators to maximise the increase in everyone’s self awareness and to maximise shared learning. The facilitator will aim to ensure that each attendee has specific actions to carry forward the learning into their day-to-day roles at work.
