north east ambulance service Righttrack has designed and implemented a large leadership development programme for over 130 managers and team leaders in order to prepare them for change and to raise management and interpersonal skill levels. To give the programme that extra bit of substance it was accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) – Europe’s leading body in the study of leadership and management. The programme covered a number of key areas, which included:
The employees of the NEAS have very active roles and are not used to sitting in an office environment and so the programmes were designed with this in mind being full of interaction, participation and a good measure of fun. This approach fitted with the culture of the NEAS and was received extremely positively by the employees, which can be clearly seen in the feedback comments below:
