Righttrack Consultancy is celebrating the success of its customer service training programme in Kuwait. Righttrack were selected by IKEA Kuwait to develop a bespoke programme to add value into already existing service standards and boost the skills of the furniture retailer’s customer service staff. Having run the programme, IKEA have been voted best furniture retailer in the recent Kuwait Service Heroes awards.
Kasmin Cooney, Righttrack’s Managing Director, comments: “We were delighted to see the investment in training being so rapidly noticed by IKEA Kuwait customers. The Service Heroes awards are based on the feedback from nearly 10,000 consumers, so to win requires staff to consistently deliver good service.
The Righttrack programme designed for IKEA put a particular emphasis on listening skills and cultural awareness so staff could get a better understanding of the needs of individual customers.
As well as the customer service programme, Righttrack also developed a “train the trainer” programme for IKEA’s in-house training staff. This should ensure that the service standards achieved should be maintained and improved upon in the future.
Since the global downturn, Righttrack has seen a rise in the demand for customer service training, as firms compete more aggressively for customers. More and more companies, in the UK and overseas, are realising that good customer service can make a big difference to sales and profits. We are delighted that our customer service training expertise can help deliver measurable results.”
UK based Righttrack has been providing training services in the Gulf region for over a decade and counts many of the major companies in Kuwait amongst its customers.
