Ready-To-Run Training from RighttrackThis module is delivered in a fun and engaging way and covers balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, cash flow and the fundamentals of creating and working with budgets relevant to their roles.

Programme Content

  • A clear explanation of financial language, expressions and ‘jargon’ and what they mean to the layman
  • How to make sense of and interpret company balance sheets and profit and loss accounts
  • An explanation of and opportunity to explore, cash flow, key ratios and those numbers that uncover the underlying strengths and weaknesses of business accounts
  • How to ‘read’ published and management accounts
  • The purpose and function of budgets. How to prepare and work with an operational budget
  • Developing skills in writing basic budgets in a practical, hands-on way
  • The fundamental principles of cost accounting and how to apply them to day-to-day operational decisions
  • Practice in communicating financial information to colleagues and team members in an interesting, effective and comprehensible form
