Righttrack has the Export Factor
We have been internationally exporting our learning and development solutions around the globe for 10 years now with great success. To help support and continue building on our accomplishments we have been working with the UK Trade & Investment, which has helped us to strengthen our international relationships.

At the beginning of November we were asked to deliver a speech explaining how we achieved our success for the UK Trade & Investment Export Factor event.

Kasmin Cooney, our Managing Director, delivered the speech and did a fantastic job explaining our international markets and our future activities. Kasmin received great praise from the event delegates, including Lord Davies, the Trade, Investment & Small Business Minister.

Check out our international website to find out more about our international experience and activities.

Righttrack becomes of age; 21!
We are ecstatic to announce that Righttrack has reached its 21st birthday. Back in October 1988, Kasmin Cooney started Righttrack from her garage, fast-forward 21 years later and Righttrack is now a successful, international, industry renowned learning and development specialist.

Over the course of the 21 years there have been lots of changes, yet one thing has remained constant: Righttrack’s passion for providing high quality learning solutions that make a real difference to both individuals and organisations.

We would like to thank everyone who has made Righttrack what it is and bring on the next 21 years!

A welcome get together
The most important thing in Righttrack is its people and it is not often that the Business Team and Training Team are able to all get together and so over the course of September we have held a number of days where the team can get together, catch up and refocus.

As always the days were great fun and really beneficial and so we would just like to say a big thank you to everybody who made it and we cant wait for the next one.

Righttrack Trademark
As Righttrack approaches its 21st birthday, we thought it was about time we made our name completely unique to us and so at the beginning of the summer we started the process of registering our name and logo.

The main reason for this is purely because of the amount of hard work and dedication the Righttrack team has used in making sure every Righttrack programme not only meets our clients needs but surpasses them; creating an unrivalled reputation. This is done by using the latest training techniques, interactive activities and that all important touch of Righttrack magic. So every time you see our logo and name you can now be sure that it is Righttrack and not some second rate copy cat.

Well done team on achieving the trademark; it took a lot of work but was well worth it!

Interesting case studies are on their way
Here at Righttrack we love nothing better than a juicy development project or an interesting business story, which is why throughout September our marketing department has been conducting a range of interviews with clients whose development has just finished.

Each interview provided a great opportunity to really understand the importance and the impact the recent Righttrack training programme brought to their organisation; interesting isn’t the word!

The team are really excited to see the finished articles, which will be made live during October; be sure not to miss out by visiting our media centre or joining our e-newsletter.

Righttrack’s new management needs analysis tool
Understanding what development you need can be tricky, particularly if there appears to be many issues that need to be addressed. To help make this easier for you we have designed and developed the industry’s first free online management needs analysis tool; the Righttrack Star Questionnaire.

The Star Questionnaire has been designed to help identify the priority of your management development needs compared to our latest management programme; The Righttrack 7 Days to Management.

The questionnaire is extremely simple and if answered accurately and honestly the results really do help point out the key management development areas that your team needs.

Have a go at our Star Questionnaire; it may help give an insight into what development your team needs for the future. Feel free to get in touch to discuss your results with our management specialists.

The Righttrack 7 Days to Management Programme
Over the years Righttrack has designed and delivered hundreds of management training programmes, for many different industries and organisation types, each with different learning needs and requirements.

With all this experience we noticed 7 key areas that were the basis of many development programmes and so our management training specialists have designed The Righttrack 7 Days to Management Programme; a set of 7 1-day modules each covering a key area.

The Righttrack 7 Days to Management is incredibly flexible; the 1-day modules can be either implemented as singular programmes in their own right, as a shortened modular approach, a pick and mix if you will, or as the full Righttrack 7 Days to Management Programme. The delivery is completely up to you.

To find out more, please get in touch.

Achieving excellence through business training
Back in June, Gemma Middleton interviewed Berneslai Homes to create an article based on the development project that Righttrack designed and delivered specifically for Berneslai Homes. The delegates of Berneslai Homes have just had their graduation ceremony and so we feel now is the perfect time to releases the article. The positive message makes a very nice change from the normal drudgery that we get from the news.

To read the full article click on the link below and if you have any questions or would like to discuss your own leadership development needs, please get in touch and speak with one of our specialists.

100% of customers would use and recommend Righttrack
As we said back in June we felt, on an initial glance, that our survey would be good news and we are pleased to announce that it is; 100% of customers would use and recommend Righttrack again. We are thrilled with the results and feel it is a just reward for all of our hard work.

We will be releasing the results in the coming weeks so be sure to download them as they do provide a great insight into the learning and development industry.

We would just like to thank all of those who participated, your comments and suggestions have been very useful and interesting.

Social Housing Sector Website
Righttrack has a vast experience in the social housing sector, with clients including The Community Housing Group, Ark Housing, and Berneslai Homes. A range of programmes has been designed to not only meet but exceed expectations. To make sure that this happens, a lot of research is carried out, not only into the client organisation but into the industry in which they operate. It is this research which has given Righttrack an incredibly deep insight into the social housing sector.

This expertise has led to us creating a dedicated social housing website, which details more about our experience in the sector as well as specific housing programmes. Why not take a look to find out more, our case studies do make for some interesting reading.

Brand New Website
Continuous improvement is exceptionally important to the Righttrack team; in fact ‘what will do won’t do’ sums up our work ethos and is the main reason we are regularly publishing ‘Brand new …’ news stories. Following on the same lines, we are proud to announce the relaunch of our brand new website.

Historically our websites have gained a great deal of praise for originality and so ensuring that our website visitors get the most from their visit, whilst appreciating the look and feel, is very important to us. We felt that it was time for another update. We have refreshed the layout as well as creating a number of interactive tools, which we think will help you all enormously.

We are incredibly proud of the new website and are keen to know what you all think. Please get in touch with any comments or suggestions you have, you never know we may incorporate them into the new design.

Righttrack Consultancy and Berneslai Homes; the interview
Righttrack regularly releases articles based on clients as we find readers love to read about the journey and benefits that real training examples bring. Back in September 2008 Righttrack started to implement a leadership programme for Berneslai Homes that was completely tailored to their development needs. Over the past 9 months the feedback has been amazing, which has created a real buzz here at Righttrack as well as at Berneslai Homes.

We felt that what the programme achieved would make an interesting article and so we sent Gemma Middleton, our Marketing Coordinator, up to Barnsley to interview Sue Lyndsey and Amanda Bennett to find out the real impact the programme has had on Berneslai Homes employees. The interview was a great success and Gemma is currently pulling all the information together. The final article will be released in July so make sure you don’t miss it.

The results are in!
Finding out what people think is important when considering learning and development. This is incredibly important to Righttrack as well as the training industry as a whole which is why we have released annual satisfaction surveys for the past 6 years. 2009 has been no exception and in May we launched the survey to our UK and International clients.

The survey has now closed and at a glance the results look very interesting! We plan to launch the results next month so keep your eyes peeled. One thing is for sure, it will be a must read.

The Magic of Management
Righttrack has a very important birthday this year; we are turning 21 in September, so to celebrate this we thought it would be a great idea to put some of our favourite management tips into a book; The Magic of Management.

The book consists of 50 top tips surrounding a range of management subjects, such as creativity, negotiation skills and time management, which are suitable for all and can easily be implemented into the working day. The Magic of Management tips really do work and although they may seem small changes the impact they have is extremely positive and can be long lasting.

We are incredibly proud of the book and the people who have already seen it are just as excited about it as it actively promotes self improvement and continual professional development.

To find out more, get in touch and speak with our development specialists; if you are lucky you may get a copy in advance of the official launch.

Brand New Righttrack Marketing Training Collection

Righttrack is proud to announce the launch of a brand new marketing training collection. The 2-day programmes cover a range of interesting marketing topics, which include Advertising and Promotion, Digital Marketing and Strategic Marketing.

As with every Righttrack training programme the marketing training collection has been designed with the participants at the centre; every aspect is innovative and impactful with the emphasis on participation and not lecturing.

The beauty of the marketing training collection is that all programmes can be delivered stand-alone or as a modular development initiative, which is exactly what we have done for one of our clients in the Gulf. The programme has been a smash hit, with delegates requesting further development. To find out more, get in touch with one of our specialists.

Righttrack’s Restructure
Righttrack has had a phenomenal 18 months with records being smashed every month. To help sustain this growth and to continue to move Righttrack forward a new structure was needed, which was formally implemented on 14th April.

Whilst there has been a lot of internal changes such as recruitment and role changes, one thing has remained the same - our customers are at the heart of everything we do - the new changes are designed to help us be even more flexible and provide a better service to all.

We will be sure to keep you posted on how we get on, with early signs looking really positive.

Record breaking first quarter
We knew that 2009 was going to be a good year for Righttrack and the results for Q1 have been our best yet. The team has worked incredibly hard so it is really rewarding to see Righttrack not only meeting our goals but surpassing them.

Kasmin Cooney, Righttrack’s Managing Director, would just like to take this opportunity to thank the internal team and the trainers, “The start of 2009 has been fantastic. We could not have achieved it if it weren’t for everybody’s effort and determination. So thank you all and here’s to the rest of 2009!”

We will keep you posted on how we get on throughout the year; just keep checking this news page as this is where all the gossip is!

Righttrack's e-newsletter is a must read
At the beginning of 2009 Righttrack thought it was time to revamp the e-newsletter as it had been in circulation for over 2 years. The e-newsletter has always been popular, with readers particularly liking our Trainer Tip and In Focus sections; however here at Righttrack we always want to try and be that little bit better.

We felt that the best way to improve it was to add two new sections:

  • Thought of the Month: questions and statements by our Managing Director, Kasmin Cooney, aimed to stimulate debate
  • LiteBites: 12 short and snappy learning lessons; a new one to download each month

We have had some excellent feedback from our readers. To find out more, you can view this month’s edition online.

Time to get training
For the past 4 years at least one member of Righttrack has entered the Race for Life as we are keen to support good causes and we feel that Cancer Research is one of the best!

This year is no exception. Gemma, our Marketing Coordinator, is taking part for the third time and is running on Sunday 26th July at the Arrow Valley Park in Redditch.

Gemma says, “I am really looking forward to it. The past couple of years have been great fun, even when it rained last year the buzz from everybody taking part was amazing. Cancer Research means a lot to me so with some help I hope to smash my sponsor target.”

The whole Righttrack team are backing Gemma and she would be grateful for your help in raising sponsorship money; it is for a great cause.

A new year, a new look
The Righttrack e-newsletter has been in circulation since the beginning of 2006 and has experienced steadily increasing readership levels. Due to it reaching its second birthday we felt that it was time for a change and so have given the e-newsletter a make over.

For those of you who like the e-newsletter format and content, don’t worry, we are still publishing our monthly Trainer’s Tip, In Focus, New at Righttrack and Righttrack in the Press sections but to complement these we have two brand new sections:

  • Thought of the Month; our Managing Director, Kasmin Cooney, poses topical thoughts and questions to help get the grey brain-matter working
  • Righttrack LiteBites; a monthly development tip

So far we have had great feedback from our readers. To take a look at the new e-newsletter, visit the latest edition or to give our e-newsletter a try sign up here.

Barack Obama; history in the making
On the 20th January 2009 Barack Obama had his inauguration and became America’s 44th president. The ceremony and celebrations were out of this world and summed up the general feeling that surround Barack Obama; excitement.

Righttrack has delivered leadership training programmes for over 21 years and loves it when prime examples of truly amazing leadership are seen the world over. We as a team are excited to see what he will bring to the world’s table and will be sure to communicate our point of view with you. In fact, Gemma Middleton, our Marketing Coordinator did just that; click on the link to view the feature on Training Zone.

We are sure he will deliver all he promises and, like the rest of the world, are happy to watch and wait whilst the changes role in.
