The Deadline for the Delegate Awards is Fast Approaching

At the beginning of 2007 we launched our online Righttrack Membership. All of our delegates are able to access their notes, trainers and learning logs online, whenever they want. An added feature of this is that all delegates are eligible to be nominated for our Righttrack Delegate Awards.

We are exceptionally impressed with the number of nominations we have received and in particular, the high standard level our delegates possess. The competition for 2007 is coming to a close and the winners of the two awards will be contacted in the new year, so keep your fingers crossed and you may be receiving a prize to brighten up your return to work.

Good luck everybody!

Latest Kuwait Trip

Over the past 5 years Kasmin and Mike have made many visits to Kuwait on behalf of Righttrack to secure contracts, meet with potential clients and of course to train, however this is the first time that our Marketing Manager, Chris Banting, has made the trip.

The main reason for the trip was for Chris to increase his knowledge of doing business in Kuwait. The trip was a real eye-opener and has left Chris full of enthusiasm and ideas ready for 2008. Chris said, “I have learnt more from this 10 day trip to Kuwait then I have in the past three years. It gave me first hand experience of what the market is like over there and I am really excited to start things moving in 2008.”

Watch Out Yorkshire

Each year the internal Righttrack team head off on an adventure to start celebrating Christmas. Last year the team headed off to London to sample the bright lights and this year we are all going to the Coniston Hotel in Yorkshire to try our hand at extreme Land Rover driving, archery and clay pigeon shooting.

The whole team is looking forward to it and Kasmin Cooney, Managing Director, says,

“The team work hard all year and as December is always so hectic we celebrate Christmas in November. This year we wanted to do something completely different. We have held a few experiential events at the Coniston Hotel and we thought this would make a perfect treat to break away from the norm, have some fun and more importantly get ourselves in the Christmas spirit!”

If you would like to see pictures of our adventures, come back to the website at the beginning of December to see our pictures.

Kuwait Success

Righttrack Team in KuwaitWe have recently won a variety of new contracts in Kuwait, so much so that a team of 5 Righttrack employees were over at the same time having a ball (as the picture shows) and running a selection of programmes for KPC and Zain.

Righttrack have always enjoyed working in Kuwait and these programmes were no exception. The delegates seem to feel the same way about Righttrack as we do them, with one delegate stating it was a “great programme.”

In the coming year Kuwait will continue to be a focus for Righttrack and we look forward to continuing our projects with existing clients as well as forging relationships with new ones.

Righttrack Magic Update

Since the launch of our first integrated marketing campaign at the end of September, we have had some incredible feedback. The campaign consisted of an inspiring mailer, an email and dedicated website, which detailed the secrets behind Righttrack’s magic. To view the Righttrack Magic website, please click on the link.

The piece de resistance was the Righttrack Magic visual. The feedback has been so positive we have decided to use it in other areas of Righttrack, so keep your eyes peeled.

The aim of the campaign was to generate awareness around Righttrack, what we do and our past experiences. This has led to some very interesting organisations wishing to find out more about who we are and what we can do.

Overall, the campaign has been a great success and we would like to thank the team for all of their hard work.

Successful Experiential Events

Since the end of September we have ran four successful experiential events for The Community Housing Group. The concept of the event was a tribe format; the delegates had to build a workable camp with each member having a specific role, as well as completing a number of tasks and surviving a night in the great outdoors.

Although the weather remained dry, it was very cold! However, this did not affect the success of the programme, with delegates doing a superb job of keeping their spirits up.

This experiential event is part of a 4 modular programme and is the first module The Community Housing Group has completed. We have already had some fantastic feedback for the event and are looking forward to the remaining modules.

Learning and Development with Righttrack Magic

This month our marketing department have been busy creating our first fully integrated marketing campaign. The main objective of the campaign is to raise awareness about Righttrack through the message of “… a little bit of magic”. The reason behind the message is because we always try to add that little extra something to all of our learning and development solutions to give our clients the best experience possible.

As the visual was completed this month, we thought it would be the perfect centrepiece of our campaign as it makes people look at Learning and development differently.

Our integrated campaign comprises email, an e-newsletter, a magic mailer, pr and a specific website dedicated to this campaign, which we hope you will all look out for.

To find out more about Righttrack and the little bit of magic campaign, please contact us.

The Righttrack Visual

At the beginning of the year we knew we wanted a piece of artwork that would extend our already successful and popular logo. We therefore commissioned graphic designer Ken Davidson as he has helped design Righttrack literature in the past and knows from personal experience what Righttrack is about and what we deliver.

The process has been long and complex, as we wanted to represent everything Righttrack stand for in a single visual.

The visual was completed last month and now is the time for its unveiling. The visual has taken centre stage in our September marketing campaign and we hope that it enables you to look at training in a fun and creative light. The individual sections each have a meaning and depict the journey taken by delegates on a Righttrack learning and development programme.

To view the visual and find out more about our Righttrack Magic campaign, visit our Righttrack Magic website.

Righttrack Launch Coaching Service

We are continually working to improve and build on our expertise and are constantly updating and introducing new services that we hope will prove useful to many organisations.

This year we have designed a variety of projects where coaching was an integral part of the learning and development process. Increasingly coaching is recognised for its value and effectiveness as it addresses individual needs in a focused way.

We have therefore created a new coaching service and increased the number of experienced coaches available to meet the increasing demand both in the UK and overseas.

Our coaches offer a range of one-to-one personal coaching services that are tailored to meet individual and organisational needs. To find out about our coaching services, please click on the link.

New Procurement Programmes

September has been a busy month for Righttrack for launching new products. Not only have we designed a new coaching service, we have also created a couple of new procurement programmes.

Since January, we have been receiving enquiries regarding the best practice for completing tenders. Many organisations fail to live up to their potential through the tendering process simply because they do not know how to evaluate tender opportunities and what information is required.

We have used specialist knowledge in creating procurement programmes, which enables delegates to have an insight and expert advice into the skills and processes needed to win tenders.

Righttrack are ISO 9001 and 14001 Approved

Since June we have been working towards being ISO 9001 and 14001 certified. ISO 9001 is an international series of standards that ensure that organisations operate effective quality assurance systems. ISO 14001 certification means that an organisation meets international environmental standards.

It has proved to be an interesting time, and we are thrilled to announce that we are now ISO 9001 and 14001 certified. We have always maintained the highest level of quality and during the audit process we found that very little needed changing. Lara Gardiner, Training Co-ordinated has been coordinating the project and she says:

“I am exceptionally pleased that we have been certified by ISO for both sets of standards. It has been quite a lengthy project and a lot of hard work was involved to ensure we met all standards.”

We feel that our ISO certifications will back up our quality approach as the whole of our business has been quality assured.

Righttrack logo extension

Since the launch of the Righttrack logo five years ago, we have had some great comments about its originality and freshness. The main comment we receive is how different it is to the typical corporate image normally associated with our industry.

After five years we thought it was time to extend the logo and give it a new look. Over the past few months, design work has taken place and the logo extension is nearly ready to be unveiled.

We can’t say much as we don’t want to ruin the surprise so you will have to come back soon and take a look.

Extending our e-learning offering

This month we have added two new e-learning courses to our range of programmes. The new courses are Equality and Diversity and Customer Service, both courses we feel address important issues that every organisation face.

The equality and diversity course was designed by a specialist in the field and will help organisations deal with all surrounding issues, such as complying with legislation and what behaviour is deemed morally unacceptable.

The customer service course looks at maintaining a service excellence approach, which we believe will help to improve productivity, lower stress and create a better atmosphere for employees and customers alike.

We offer a free trial for our e-learning courses and if you are interested in this, please click here. If you would like to discuss further what you are looking for in terms of e-learning, please contact us.

Righttrack are tasting the difference

On the 8 th July, the Righttrack business support team could be found tasting the city’s best food in the comfort of Cannon Hill Park. It was a fantastic day and everybody really enjoyed the food that was on offer.

It was Righttrack’s second year to the Taste of Birmingham show and Vicci, our training services manager, who took an instant liking to John Christophe Novelli last year, managed to catch him again and got a cheeky photo.

The rain held off until it was time to go home, so overall it was a great team day out - as the picture below shows.

For the fourth year running, we have received extremely positive results from our satisfaction survey. They have improved on last year’s results and 100% of Righttrack customers say they will recommend and use us again. We are thrilled with this news as it has rewarded all of our hard work over the past year.

    • Capability of Righttrack
    • Trainers’ Experience
    • Project Delivery
    • Overall Quality
    • Overall Rating

The rest of the results follow the same pattern as above and make for some interesting reading. To view the results of the survey, please download our latest Why Buy from Righttrack.

We would just like to thank the respondents for taking the time to fill out our survey and hope that the winner enjoys their iPod Shuffle. The winner is Tara Field from Monitor.

National Learning At Work Day

On the 24th May 2007, the eighth National Learning at Work Day takes place. The initiative was established in 1999 with the sole purpose of raising awareness for workplace learning by supporting and promoting events throughout England. Each year, many organisations take part to increase their employees’ skill levels through creative, fun, business-related learning. This year’s theme is Live Long and Prosper to encourage organisations and their employees to get into shape and enjoy their jobs.

We at Righttrack have always believed that employees should have the opportunity to further develop their skills in a fun and creative way and that is why we fully support the National Learning at Work Day.

Righttrack are recruiting new associates

Due to the launch of our new range of services at the beginning of the year and the rate at which Righttrack is growing, we are currently looking for new specialist associates to compliment our core team of trainers. That is why this month we launched a recruitment drive, trying to attract experienced and creative trainers to enhance our team.

The application period has been live for two weeks and the deadline is Monday 21st May. We have been thrilled with the level and breadth of responses and they seem to keep coming in thick and fast.

Once the application period has closed, the Righttrack panel will then assess all applications. The successful candidates then meet the panel and follow Righttrack’s recruitment process.

Are you feeling satisfied?

At every stage of a Righttrack learning and development solution, whether it is in the design stage, producing the training materials or in the delivery of the training programme the delegates are at the centre of every activity. This is why we feel that it vital that all delegates have an outlet for their opinions on their experiences with and around Righttrack.

To help achieve this, all delegates now receive a feeling satisfied postcard within their training material packs. This directs the delegates to our designated satisfaction website so that they can leave comments and provide feedback if they wish to. On the postcard, there is a personal message from Righttrack’s Managing Director, Kasmin Cooney, emphasising how important delegates’ views are to Righttrack.

“At the heart of all we do are our delegates and that is why we felt it was necessary to give them an outlet to post their thoughts and opinions,” says Kasmin. “We have received positive feedback from our clients about this initiative and look forward to reading delegate opinions.”

Righttrack Blog

2007 is well underway and the new services and initiatives have been well received by our clients. One particular initiative that has proved popular and has great acclaim is the Righttrack blog. The unique ‘soap opera’ twist has readers hooked on our four fictional characters, thus allowing them to pick up helpful learning tips through a meaty story.

George, Carla, Carlton & Finley

Our young professionals have settled into their house in Birmingham and are making regular posts about their working dilemmas, as well as letting slip juicy snippets of information about their personal lives.

The posts are twice a week (Tuesday and Friday) and each post is from a different character to give the reader a fuller picture of what is going on in the house as well as what each character is experiencing. The blog allows readers to comment on a general message board, which they can refer to a particular post, the overall story or a character.

The blog has made news on a number of leading blogging sites as well as catching the attention of a national digital radio station, Colourful Radio. To view the press coverage and listen to the podcast interview that the blog has received, please click here.

The number of readers is increasing each week and is proving to be a must read - the story is just getting started so check out what the four are up to. To view the blog, please click here.

Righttrack Delegate Awards

Righttrack have created a brand new awards scheme to reward delegates for outstanding participation during programmes and the implementation of the learning into day-to-day working life. The main reason for this initiative is that here at Righttrack, we are dedicated to delegates’ continual learning and development - the relationship is not over when the programme finishes.

The initiative has two separate awards; the first, Delegate of the Year, rewards one delegate who has made an exceptional effort to participate, engage and make positive contributions during the training programme. The programme trainers will nominate one delegate from each training programme if they feel that they have met the required criteria. A lucky draw of the nominees will take place to decide the winning delegate.

The second award, Learner of the Year, is for the delegate who has implemented their learning the most effectively, creating a positive impact on their role and company. Righttrack will invite delegates’ managers and trainers to nominate a candidate for the award. The Righttrack training team will then judge the nominees based on the entries made in their own personal online learning log.

Both winning delegates will receive a prize which they can choose from the prize list.

ILM LogoRighttrack’s ILM approved leadership courses have proved a huge hit with clients and because of this, the current programme offerings have expanded to include sales programmes.

Righttrack’s innovative learning and development solutions designed specifically for clients such as Mercedes Benz and the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) have incorporated ILM approved programmes. These client specific programmes have been a great success and welcomed by all delegates.

In addition, the ILM Approved Righttrack to Leadership Development Award has received recognition in the press for the creative approach used to train delegates from the NEAS. To view the full press article please click here.
