Anyone who wishes to acquire the essential knowledge and skills to be a successful trainer will find that this train the trainer course answers all their questions. The Righttrack team of professional trainers have prepared this thorough programme to train new and practicing trainers.
It is approved by ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) Europe's largest leadership and management awarding body as a Development Programme.
We include in the course established theories and practice as well as nuggets from our experience – in total our training team can claim over 500 years designing and delivering training!
All delegates will receive Righttrack Academy for Trainers membership. The membership provides confidential support for new trainers through their initial training experiences.
By the end of the programme participants will:
Understand and be able to explain the role of a trainer / facilitator
Know how people learn and be able to apply that knowledge to the design
and facilitation of training sessions
Understand and be able to explain the psychology of learning
Know what makes for an environment conducive to learning
Be able to complete a training needs analysis (TNA) design &
deliver structured training session
Be able to set training objectives
Be familiar with all available training media and know why to select one in favour or another
Have learned how to produce a lesson plan
Explored the importance of learning transfer and how to embed it into their courses
Know how to create effective presentation design
Understand different evaluation methods, their advantages and disadvantages and show
how to use them
Recognise and act in respect of special learning difficulties
Have formulated plans to deliver effective training and facilitation
Understand and be able to explain good communication techniques
Have developed and practiced skilful questioning techniques
Be able to show how to give feedback in a constructive and motivational way
Understand and be able to demonstrate how to handle different delegate personality types
