The Bribery Act 2010 came into effect in July and Alaba Okuyiga gives an overview of what it means for organisations.
On the news front Righttrack recently won a prestigious contract for soft skills training with Wataniya Telecom in Kuwait. As well as building business in the Gulf, Righttrack has strengthened its training capability with bilingual European language speakers as part of its strategy to win contracts from the UN and other agencies.

| Bribery Act 2010 now in effect |
The UK Bribery Act came into effect on 1 July 2011, replacing anti-bribery laws dating back to 1889, 1906, and 1916.
The Bribery Act gives authorities the scope to investigate companies, senior staff and board members and hold them liable for the actions of employees or associated persons who paid or offered bribes.
