My approach is practical, honest and objective and focuses on supporting people in identifying, reaching (and often exceeding) their goals. To realise their true potential people need to develop and change. This can be tremendously rewarding personally and professionally. The challenges change brings can also be pretty scary. A positive working relationship between coach and coachee enables a person to meet the challenges that change brings and realise their true potential - and that's often way beyond an individual's self perceived limits. I'm not an expert with all the answers to your personal and organisational development issues - that's not what coaching is about - and any well meaning advice preceded by "If I were in your shoes I would." or "I know exactly how you feel" should be viewed with caution, however well intentioned it may be. Coaching will enable you to identify your own real goals and will support you in identifying specific actions that are right for you. The great thing about a coaching relationship is that there are no hidden agendas and therefore no need to hide issues or concerns or to assume personas. My sole objective is to enable you to reach your goals and realise your potential. Whilst I'm not going to hassle you, I'll stay in touch with you throughout our coaching sessions. So between sessions I'll call you to say hi and to check how things are going. My style has been described as warm, empathetic, enthusiastic, supportive and sensitive. I look forward to working with you. |
