Kantala
Kantala develop bespoke Management Information Systems designed to streamline business processes and present information in easy, manageable ways so that organisations can improve efficiency and maximise performance. As Lead Developer, the client delegate is required to make high-profile, professional presentations. He sought formal training and coaching support to further develop aspects of his presentation style.
Presentation style differs from person to person; an individual’s approach is moulded by personal characteristics and preference. A series of one-to-one training / coaching sessions gave the client the opportunity to develop his own personal style with very practical support and advice from a communication and presentations skills trainer, and professional qualified coach, whose background is in the world of acting and drama.
Staggering the sessions gave the delegate the opportunity to build on his skills over a period of time. Equipped with honed skills, his presentations are sharper, more confident and create the impact required to present new products and win business time and time again.

Pension division of major oil company
The client required time management development for those who work in the pensions and benefits division of BP Pensions. The team are extremely busy, managing no end of reactive calls, juggling priorities and dealing with very sensitive client situations. The aim was to enhance self awareness of how people worked, how they managed their time and to increase effectiveness of managers and staff.
Righttrack prepared and implemented two bespoke programmes, one at a foundation level and another advanced. The foundation programme focussed on the impact behaviours and working styles have on time management, prioritising and time management tools. The advanced programme however concentrated on goal and target setting, and understanding how specific time management tools complimented natural preferred behaviours.
The programmes promoted good dialogue amongst the delegate groups who contributed positively to the programmes. Not only did people agree individually that they would manage their time better, there was recognition that if the team took a collective approach to adopt certain time management tools then they would be even more successful and be able to collectively manage even better.

Zain, an international telecommunications company, wanted to develop technical marketing skills and knowledge for 40 employees from 7 divisions within the marketing department.
The objective was to design and deliver an effective programme specific to the needs of individual staff members, the marketing divisions and Zain as an organisation, using very latest, world-class marketing techniques and knowledge. Content of all modules needed to be based on Zain’s behavioural and technical competency frameworks.
A 360 degree questionnaire was used to assess skills and behaviour levels against the competencies. The results influenced content for the Marketing School which consisted of modules:
Behaviours of a Highly Dynamic Marketing Team
Marketing Principles
Strategic Marketing
Customer Relationship Management
Customer Relationship Management
Digital Marketing
Innovation, Market Research & Product Development
Advertising & Promotion
Strategic Sales Skills
Following attendance at each module delegate’s implemented work based assignments evaluated by line managers. Coaching and on-going support was provided to ensure maximum learning.
Through the project delegates gained an understanding of key marketing strengths & weaknesses; how improvements could be made to cross functional working; and ways in which the learning could be transferred to specific activities including marketing research, new product development and communication strategy.
Final evaluations were taken at the end of the twelve month project. This post project evaluation showed an increase in knowledge and understanding of the subjects of between 55 – 75% above pre-project results.

British Car Auctions (BCA) is the UK's leading and largest vehicle remarketing company, with a nationwide network of auction centres complemented by vehicle inspection services, logistics and preparation services. BCA managers routinely interview and recruit employees, and as such require optimum interview skills and a strong awareness of the relevant legal framework. The company HR Manager selected Righttrack for this important assignment based on its depth of experience and excellent track record.
Following initial discussions and meetings Righttrack formulated the content of an intense programme that aligned with BCA’s recruitment processes and procedures. The course was attended by 25 managers ensuring that, supported by their specialist HR colleagues, they were able to comply with legislation and recruit strong candidates.
Delegates reported that the course took them to a new level of confidence and competence when interviewing and selecting new employees. They all developed a distinct structure to ensure all key points are covered and prepared lists of essential questions designed to make the interviews thorough. The HR Manager gave very positive feedback on the courses and has since retained Righttrack for other important projects.

The Community Housing Group
This major player in the social housing sector required a Project Management programme to prepare those managing small and medium sized projects, as well as change, as part of their day to day roles. The learning also needed to help project managers deal with project teams which were not direct reports.
Righttrack designed and implemented a comprehensive programme which was approved by the Institute of Leadership & Management. The content included key project management and analysis tools which delegates applied to their own live projects as they learned in the training room. This provided a practical element that ensured delegates progressed with important, specific projects at the same time as learning. In addition, delegates learned how to manage project teams and how important the human element is to any project.
Following the attendance on this programme, it was evident that delegates had improved their project management skills as well as their understanding of how to better manage what are sometimes remote project teams. Managers were also able to pull on learning from other modular management development programmes previously attended.
